Malawi on the move.

Thursday, September 13, 2007
Pastor Mark Zambiri writes, that a lady in the church came forward for prayer while Papa Joe spoke on healing. She wanted a baby but was told she could not have any children. After she as prayed for, went home and rested in God. She was told that since she was born she could not have any children. God answered our prayers and she is now pregnant.
God is moving in Migowi as we see people giving lots of testimonies, we praise God for his healing power.

The church has decided to build a small clinic which we intend to open on the 25Th of November 2007 during the gathering of many leaders. We would like to give all the official community leaders and government officials a glimpse of what Christians can do for their world. The Minister of Health will come as guest of honor and open the little clinic.
We would like to ask if we can use your names for this clinic and propose to call it Joseph and Anne Schneider Clinic. We want to open the eyes of the people in our community that the church has a role to play in bringing hope to our community.

Regarding the up coming conference in November we are contacting 1200 leaders and invite them to attend our conference. Here is the budget for the conference. Conference hall $200US
Accommodation $ 700US. Food for the people $ 1000US. Vehicle hire $ 850US. Lodging $365US.
Supply travel cost for pastors from Mozambique $ 600US. Advertising and preparatory work $ 700US.
Please pray for our Lord Jesus Christ to supply all our needs according to our riches in Glory.

Pastor Mark and Jeany Zimbiri.

Four men came to our office from Nagaland

Thursday, August 30, 2007
A family arrived in a village close to the Nagaland border. This family became Christians several years ago while Papa Joe was preaching in Robert Vaiphei village. They were Born again and Spirit filled. This family was originally from Napal and before becoming Christians were strong Hindus opposing the gospel and Christian teaching. But after listening to the message of God the whole family came to Christ. The mother of the family was a diabetic and a very sick patient. When Papa Joe prayed for her she was totally healed. As the family shifted to this new village near the Nagaland border they shared their testimony with the villagers and many gave their lives to Christ. They have learned to pray for the sick and our Lord honors them by healing people. This family has become a great example for the whole area as they preach and bring people to Christ in their new area. The four men that came to our office to tell this story had come to find out where our office was and discover more about the work of Papa Joe.
The harvest is great but the workers are few. River of Life is reaping a great harvest in Manipur North East India come join us.

Evangelism and Miracles go hand in hand

18th of August 2007 in the village of Harouthel an open air evangelistic meeting was held and attended by several hundred people. As the word of God was preached many Hindi people were touched by the gospel message. Others were healed as they came forward to give their lives to Christ.
Friday the 24th of August another open air meeting was help in Yairipok. Again several hundred people attended this meetings of which most heard the word of God for the first time.
Wednesday the 29th of August a whole night prayer meeting was held at our Diplomatic centre where we prayed and fasted for the State of Manipur.
Three visitors came to our office from the South of Manipur with a story about a family and their children. The Father was seriously ill and after seven month of pain and suffering came to Imphal with his children for treatment. Being extremely poor they could not take him to the doctor or treatment. The family came from a remote village and could not speak the Manipury language. Stranded they stayed with a distant relative in an area called the games village. Minthang and I happen to be there praying for some families. When this family heard we were there they decided to bring their father also for prayer. Sone after having prayed for them they left. During the night the man had a dream, in the dream he saw an angel talking to him. The angel told him, "you have come to Imphal at the right time to meet the man of God. From now on you will receive your healing for the one who prayed for you is my annointed one, now receive this anointing from God with the oil of joy.
When the Father woke up he was perfectly healed. The family returned to their village praising God. The news of this healing spread all over the area and 35 people received Jesus Christ as this family is preaching God's word.

MALAWI CHALLENGE

Thursday, August 23, 2007
River of Life Pastor Mark Zimbiri just returned from Mozambique where 43 pastors and leaders attended a meeting from the 13th to 16th of August. Mozabique had civil war from 1975 to 1992. Since that time the gradual process of rebuilding lives and families has been a slow. In many places the occult religions are blinding the people to the trues of Jesus Christ. It is now free to worship and our hope is that many un-reached tribes will be reached for Jesus Christ through our work.

Mark said, "I used this time to speak to the leaders to attend the River of Life conference in Malawi from November 27th to 2 December 2007. There seemed to be a great hunger for the leaders to attend the conference.

In Malawi is a village called Migowi close to the Mozambique border. This is where Mark lives and has a church. Our plans for this area is to build an orphanage on land we can purchase from tribal chiefs. The cost of this land is $8000 US but up to now we have not been able to settle this payment. I keep trusting our Lord to provide for this land, it is a faith journey. On the 19th of August the chiefs called a meeting to ask us if we still wanted to buy the land. We told the chiefs that it was at the appointed time God would release the funds and then we would purchase the land. In the mean time we informed them to keep using the land for their crops. They all asked if we could give a deposit of $2000US.

Prayer point for Malawi are:

1 Land purchase

2 Financial increase for Pastor Marks family.

3 $700US for the conference arrangments.

4 Monthly rental for our office $35.

Please pray, and if you can our brothers and sisters in Africa do not hesitate to call us.

New Frontiers in North East India

Thursday, August 16, 2007
Expanding and creating new frontiers bring challenges that always surpass know areas in ministry. A team comprising of four adventurous brothers left Imphal the capital of Manipur to go to Gawahati in the State of Assam. Their purpose, to reach all the North Eastern States with the gospel. The neighboring country to these Indian States is Bhutan. Bhutan is a small country with a population of 2,327,849 ruled by a king. The King is the most powerful and is the final authority in the land. Buddhism is the religion in this region.

The team stayed in Gawahati for four days reaching out to un-reached people and Christian church leaders. About one hundred people listened as we shared the gospel. We felt it was time to split into two groups to reach un-reached areas with the gospel in these Northern States. One team left for Arunchal Pradesh while the other team left for rural areas of Assam.

During the weeks of this ministry journey, the second team visited 18 remote villages and preached to about 500 people, out of these 74 received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
The first team returned after 10 days from Arunachal Pradesh, they had visited 14 villages and spoke to over 700 people out of which 102 people gave their lives to Jesus.

Excited and together again the whole team left for Northern Assam. Here we visited 8 very large villages Minthang shared, where over one thousand people had the opportunity to listen to God's words. There was much opposition from gangs of youth who beat up our young evangelists. Threatening words were a constant but in spite of all this we kept preaching and sharing the word of God boldly. The result was that other villagers asked us to come to their village as well, and about 100 people gave their lives to Christ.

After three days we decided to split up again to cover more areas. Two hundred miles North of Gawahati we had some Christian friends and with their help we were able to reach many un-reached tribal people with the gospel. These people live in extreme primitive conditions. Each day 50 to 80 people came to listen to the word of God. During this time we discovered a Christian family from Mizoram, who are doing missionary work amongst these people. This couple was extremely happy and thankful to see us as we helped then in their ministry. Together we worked to bring people to Christ each day.

There is a small medical centre which is the only clinic for this whole area hundreds of miles around were people come for help. In this clinic we were able to set up a room for ministry to the sick. Each day we prayed for people and ministered the word of God. As people heard the word of God and were healed more people came as the word went out. For many it was the first time to hear about the good news of the gospel. During this time out of 130 people we ministered to 98 gave their lives to Christ.

It has become evident that we need to send a missionary to this remote outpost. A young couple has volunteered to go there, we need to find support for them. Altogether during this outreach 400 people were saved.

It is not easy to minister in these remote areas, we have willing families from our bible college to go a live amongst these primitive people but they need your help. If God stirs you to be part in this frontier mission field do not hesitate to call us.

River of Life Journey to Africa

Monday, July 30, 2007
From Melbourne to Perth, from Perth to Johannesburg and on to Blantyre in Malawi Central Africa, our journey started. From there car transport for another two hours to Zomba the past British Governors mansion, here we had a meal, then travelled on towards the Mozambique border to a small place called Magowi. This was our destination. Anne and I were invited to be guest speakers at a Church Ablaze Conference. Very tired and exhausted after five hours travel by car we arrived just after dark.

To our surprise it is a place with the second highest mountain in Africa. The scenery is picturesque, the roads are dirt roads and in many places nearly impassable. Our vehicle a sedan was not build for these roads as we slipped often from side to side on muddy trails. This being our first journey to Africa we had no idea where we were going. We had never met Pastor Mark Zimbiry who picked us up at the airport, we recognised by a sign that simply said Schneider.

Before we left Melbourne we had asked Mark about the weather and he said it was cold at night.
Well, not realizing that it might be cold for the black people of Africa, for Anne and I we were very hot. Just at the end of the monsoon season it was muggy and warm. We stayed in a guest house very primitive. We had a room with a double bed and a mosquito net stretched over it.
The bathroom was also primitive with a pipe coming out of the wall with refreshing cold water which suited me but not Anne. At lease we had a western toilet praise God. Every day we had breakfast which was cucumber and tomatoes and two fried eggs and bread. other meals were rice, potatoes and vegetables. Anne and I enjoyed the simple life style except for the mosquitoes.

In this part of Africa transport is mainly by bicycle or walking on foot. The nearest hospital is 50 miles from Magowi. We passed sick people who were carried on the back of a flat steel tray build on the back of a bicycle, this was their ambulance. They had to travel 50 miles to reach the hospital. For us these conditions are UN-imaginable but in this place it is a common sight. Aids is rampant throughout central Africa. The extreme poverty makes room for this disease to spread. Wives are shackles to be used by men and often beaten into submission. Girls marry as young as thirteen and most live no longer then 40 and might reach 50. The population is mainly young people under the age of twenty years of age. Hundreds of children learn to fend for themselves because their parents have died from aids.

Anne and I were touched as we learned about the condition of these people. There is no infrastructure to help them out of their predicament. We know the only answer for these people is a relationship with Jesus Christ. We preached for five days the hope of Jesus. Many people were delivered and set free as they came forward to give their lives to Jesus Christ. After the conference I baptised many in a local river after a two mile walk there and back.

Pastor Mark asked, "What qualification do I need to become part of the River of Life organization so that we can receive more teaching". I had watched Mark carefully in the time we spend together. I have come to the conclusion that he is an exemplary pastor as he leads and respects his people. I told him that by his example God has already Qualified him.
His qualification is, "Called by God", he learned English by putting together two bibles, one in English the other in his language and comparing notes he learned English. Mark is a true example of a man dedicated to bring Christ to his people.

River of Life has taken to heart this part of Central Africa. Our hope is to build a place of refuge for orphans where they can learn skills and receive education. Pastor Mark has started 16 churches that will receive help from River of Life World Evangelization Inc.

I know that when our Lord shows River of Life something, like what we have experienced in Malawi, I know we need to do something. So River of Life invites all friends to become part to restoring God's kingdom on earth in Malawi Africa.

New Frontier for Reaching the Unreached

Thursday, November 23, 2006
Greetings from your family and church members here in Imphal.

On the 18th November, we were in Moljang village located at the remote foot hills in Churachandpur district. About 500 people live in that village. We talked to the villagers and requested them to let us preach. With permission from the villagers, we preached and about 200 people listened to the Gospel. They were very encouraged by the word of God. Forty-five people gave their lives to Christ.

We prayed for many sick people and God touched and healed many diseases. One man who was suffering from T.B. with severe chest pain was healed instantly. Praise God for all His wonderful work in the many hidden people.

On Sunday at 6:30am at Koirenggei we had fellowship amongst the Hindu people and 49 people listened to the word of God. At 10:30am we had a normal regular church service at our bible college. At 3:30pm, we organized a service with different groups of people at Canchipur, which is about 12 kilometers from our home. I preached again and about 126 people listened to the word of God. For many of them, it was the first time in their life that they had heard about God’s love. God touched their hearts and 21 people accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord. In the evening, we had our normal regular church service at our bible college where I preached to the people and to our students.

On the 20th November, we began the second semester examination of our bible college students in the midst of a strong general strike and curfew for the whole state of Manipur. There were no vehicles driving on the road, all the roads were deserted and all the shops had their shutters down. We only just managed to arrive at our College by bicycle. It was very dangerous and many vehicles were damaged during this general strike. Several people were killed. Please keep praying for us as we move around in the midst of great danger. We hope the general strike will be lifted tomorrow so that we can have a normal schedule again.

We are planning to branch out our ministry to the North Eastern States of India, amongst the hidden people in these regions. We are planning to set up a centre for reaching the unreached in the whole North East region.

Some of our friends who are already there invited us to start this new frontier mission. They told us that our organization, River of Life World Evangelization and Vaiphei Christian Church, could reach many unreached areas with the Gospel. I am planning to go and pioneer the work of evangelization. Please pray and consider this seriously. We may set up a new centre in Guwahati which is the capital city of Assam. From there, we can easily reach out to the whole North East region. When you are here in January we can discuss this more and also try to go there.

We plan to leave Imphal, Manipur, for this Frontier mission on the 4th Decemeber, 2006. Our plan is to reach the seven different states of the North East interior with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Since there are many interior areas in these regions where the Gospel has never been preached, we want to see that hundreds of souls are saved during this journey throughout the North Eastern States of India. For this task, we desperately need your prayer as we will be encountering many difficulties. Let us pray that many thousands of lost souls will be reached with the gospel of Christ during our tour to these North Eastern states.

The River of Life Bible College students will finish their exams on the 29th November. On the 30th November, we will be having a New Life conference to encourage our students in the ministry. We plan to arrive back home from our North East frontier tour on the 20th December.

On the 18th November, when we were in Churachandpur, we met a woman who said that she got healed from her sickness through Papa Joe’s prayers. She told me that she was having an ear drum problem, and had been deaf for about 3 years. But when Papa Joe prayed for her at the Crusade she was healed.

She also told me that a boy from her village came who was dumb, he could not speak. They were from a very remote interior village, but came for the crusade as they needed physical healing. The boy who could not speak for 7 years can now speak through sister Suzette's prayer. He has started going to school after 7 years. He is very happy. His parents had taken him to many doctors but ended with no remedy. After Sister Suzette prayed for him he is now able to speak. They praise God.

One lame boy who was half paralysed came from about 29 kilometers away from Churachandpur. He got healed through Papa Joe's prayer. The boy was brought in to the Crusade at Churachandpur, but they could not bring him to you because so many people wanted to be prayed for. But the mother of the boy came to Papa Joe, with a man from her village who can do a little interpretation. The mother said that when Papa prayed for her son who was standing in the distance, Papa did not see the boy, but she had a great faith that if Papa prayed for her boy that he would be healed. Papa Joe did pray for the boy. When the mother got back to the boy he asked her, "mother, did you ask Papa to pray for me?" The mother said yes. Then the boy said, "I will be healed because I felt something." They went back home and in the next two days the boy got completely healed. They praised God. Now the boy says he always prays for Papa Joe’s ministry. He got what he needed most in the world which is his spiritual life and physical health. Because of Papa Joe, he has a personal relationship with God which will last forever and he got his physical healing through Papa Joe’s prayers, for which the doctors could not do anything.

We pray that our Loving Father will always shower His wonderful blessing upon you, your family and ROLWE & VCC.

We don’t know where the money for the trip to the North East will be coming from, but we trust God to provide.

Your missionary brother,
Minthang Suantak.

Jesus Heals as the People Rejoice

Wednesday, November 01, 2006
Greetings from your family and church members here in Imphal.

I arrived home last night from P. Thianzawl Youth Conference. Today Lolly’s father had another operation so we are all busy in the hospital.

The Youth Conference/Seminar was great, many youths from different villages attended.

Many other people from the nearby villages came for the seminars. We were a bit tired as we preached day and night. About 64 people got saved during the conference.

There were four men from Sagolmang village who came and met me at the Youth Conference. These four men told me that during our Crusade at Imphal they were in Imphal looking after one very seriously sick man in the hospital. The sick person they were looking after was suffering from a lung problem. He was very sick and weak. The doctor told them to go home as they could not do much since the sickness was too chronic and no medicine could help him. Therefore, he was discharged from the hospital. They knew that there was the Festival of Hope and Peace crusade in Imphal so the sick man urged that he should be brought to the crusade. Since he was so weak they did not want to bring him, but he was persistent and at last they brought him. They said that on that night, Papa Joe was teaching songs to the audience, “Rejoice in the Lord” and they all learned the song. The sick man was so interested that he, too, learned. They were all amazed as to how this person who was so very weak could learn with so much enthusiasm, forgetting all his sickness. One of his friends asked him (the sick man) "do you want us to take you back? You are too weak," but the sick man replied, "NO! No, I am enjoying the angels singing together with me." Then a very strange thing happened. It seemed he could move more freely. After the message of sister Suzette, Papa Joe came down to the people and when he prayed for him, the man got healed.

Soon after Papa Joe prayed for him, his friends said, "now lets go," but the man said "no I’m enjoying this. I’m staying here." Again, he felt touched in his body. However, they forced him and took him by the hand and went back home.

At night, he said that he felt strong and the pain in his body had gone. The next day, his friends took him home in a bus. They arrived at 6pm in their village. Some of the villagers came and met them at the bus station. Then that night the man had a dream. In the dream, Papa Joe again prayed for him and while Papa Joe was praying for him, he saw a light from above and immediately he got up and there was absolutely no pain in his body. He is now completely healed and he does not take any medicine now. He is totally free from all sickness. He then gave his life to Christ and is now eagerly waiting to meet Papa Joe when he comes back to Manipur.

Last night, as soon as I arrived home, I received a phone call from Churachandpur. A woman told me that she had been waiting for me to come to Churachandpur so that she could give a report. Since I had not gone there, she phoned me. The woman told me that she had been suffering from liver problems. Her liver had swollen and she could not eat food. Her eyes had become yellow and she even sometimes vomited blood. She was extremely weak and very thin. She went to the doctor and the doctor prescribed her medicines, but she could not afford to buy it because it was too expensive. She was a very poor woman. She was only waiting to give up her last breath. Her poor husband and children could not help her. By God’s grace she came to our crusade in Churachandpur, with the help of her husband and children. The woman said to me, “when Papa Joe laid his hand on me and prayed for me, I believed I would surely be healed." But she did not immediately feel anything.

However, she had great hope and faith that she would be healed. She has known about Papa Joe for many years, and about his work in Manipur. That night, she was taken home by her dear husband and children. Then, at night, she felt something in her heart telling her, "You are healed." Immediately, she woke up and then woke her whole family. They sat together, thanking God for His healing power.

The next day morning, she woke up with a cheerful heart and sound health. Now she doesn't have to buy any medicine as she is healed by the blood of Jesus through Papa Joe’s prayer. The woman's name is Mrs Khumi. Last week she went to the hospital and told the other patients that if they really wanted to get healed from their sickness, the only way is Jesus. She told the patients and doctors in the hospital that she was healed by the blood of Jesus and through the prayer of Papa Joe. She said Papa Joe's ministry in Manipur is a rescue operation for all the poor and needy people in Manipur. It is Papa Joe, being used by Jesus, who helps thousands upon thousands of poor, hungry and needy people in Manipur. Manipur needs Papa Joe. Then the woman told me on the phone that they will always pray for Papa Joe, his family and his ministry. She said that she also prays for sister Suzette.

Tomorrow the State is having a great festival, a Christian festival, with all our government ministers and high officials, including our governor who will be participating in this festival. People from all corners will be participating and the state announced a holiday in view of this Christian festival. They have asked me to open this festival with a word of prayer. I was selected by the many high officials to grace this festival with a word of prayer.

We always keep praying for you. We also never forget to pray for your trip to the United States.

The building construction is continuing and we bought the steel pipe for the roof of the Diplomat Centre. We still need money for the roof and for finishing the first floor. We also need timber planks to make the first floor doors.

We love you Papa, and we keep praying for you. We are looking forward to hearing from you and seeing you in January. Bless you papa.

Your missionary brother,
Minthang Suantak.

Testimonies of God Spread Rapidly Through Manipur

Saturday, October 28, 2006
Greetings from your family and church members here in Imphal.

It is with joy that we write this email to you. Everything is going very well here and the college is running smoothly and our ministry in church planting and rural evangelism is going very well.

This morning, a pastor from Churachandpur came to us and told us that the Festival of Hope and Peace Crusade in Churachandpur and Imphal had a great impact to the whole state of Manipur. Many thousands of people accepted Jesus Christ in Churachandpur alone, and many hundreds of people were healed from different sicknesses. He kept telling us that our Crusade impressed thousands of Hindu people. Now, after the Crusade, it is easier to preach the gospel to the Hindus, because the crusade has become a forerunner and pioneer to many unreached tribes.

Earlier, the Hindu people strongly opposed the preaching of the Gospel. But after watching the Crusade on the television, and coming personally to the Crusade venue, they are now very much impressed with the word of God. Therefore, after our crusade, it has been much easier to witness to the Hindu people.

Last night, we visited a woman from Churachandpur in Imphal Hospital. The woman is the wife of one of our Crusade board members from Churachandpur. She had extreme pain in her head and the doctor said she needed an emergency operation. While we were in the hospital, a couple came to us and asked me whether I am Minthang Suantak? I immediately said, "yes, I am." Then the husband asked me, "where is Papa Joe?" I said, "in Australia." Then I asked him how he knew Papa Joe. The man asked me why did we not know this man of God who loves Manipur and cares for Manipur like his own family? We knew Papa Joe very much and we know his love for Manipur. He kept telling us that they wanted to meet Papa Joe so I told them that Papa will be here in January. Then I asked them where they are from. They were not tribal but Meitei so with great enthusiasm I asked them if they were Christians, they told me honestly that they are not yet Christians, but they were impressed with the love and work Papa Joe is doing in Manipur. They told me that they know many living testimonies about Papa Joe’s ministry from many years, from many people including people nearby his village.

The woman (wife) told me that this year one woman nearby her village, who was seriously sick in the hospital, was healed after Papa Joe’s prayer. The doctor lost hope and could not do anything for this woman, but after the prayer of Papa Joe, the women was healed. The woman said that this testimony has influenced many of her people in her area. Her husband is so positive about the work of God, through this testimony and also the many more testimonies which he has heard about Papa Joe. Now her husband is very close with the Gospel. After listening to his wife I immediately preached to this couple. They were so enthusiastic. We sat down in the corner of the hospital and both of them gave their lives to Christ.

Then I tried to find out who this particular woman was that you prayed for in the hospital. Then we knew, it was the woman that you prayed for in the hospital in September when one young lady came and persistently requested that you pray at the hospital after the Crusade. The couple told me that this testimony of the woman being healed has spread all over our area and many were greatly amazed as they saw the work of God practically.

When I was talking with this couple, many more Meitei people came to us and they listened to my sharing. Many of those Meitei people knew you (Papa Joe) very well. Many of them talked about you with joy. One particular gentlemen told me that though they are not Christians as yet, no one can tell about our future, we cannot say that we will not become Christians. If people keep seeing good things from the work it will be easy to influence people. In a couple of years we will have thousands of people who will follow the Lord. The man told me that many people (in terms of thousands) in his area are very much influenced by Papa Joe's ministry in Manipur. He told me that he fully believed that Papa Joe will draw many people into the Kingdom of God in the future. This particular gentlemen was also very interesting but he only had a few minutes. His friend pulled him out of the group that had gathered.

Today our bible college students and our boys worked in the new campus of our bible college, putting up fencing and cleaning. From today our youth will meet at P. Thianzawl village for a Youth Conference/Seminar till Monday. I will be joining them tomorrow and will be back on Monday. We expect 90 youths at this seminar. Please pray for this youth seminar. Khaiboi may leave this afternoon for the youth conference.

May the good Lord continue to bless you all, this is our earnest prayer for you all. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Bless you Papa. Shalom.

Your missionary brother,
Minthang Suantak.

Miraculous Healings in Churachandpur

Tuesday, October 10, 2006
Greetings from your family and church members here in Imphal. We trust that everything is going fine with you and that you had a safe and merciful journey back home.

Yesterday we had a good time with our bible college students. Today we had another board meeting and tomorrow I am having a workers' meeting as many of our workers, pastors, evangelists and teachers will come to our office for a committee meeting and for prayers.

As I told you on the 5th October, we went to Churachandpur to visit several of our churches and also to meet different people who shared with us their reports and testimonies of our crusade. By evening, we were trying to return back home, however after 20 minutes driving, our car broke down and we had to push the car to the road side. After several minutes of trying to repair our car by ourselves we could not work it out. Then with the help of another car we pulled our car back to a workshop in Churachandpur. We spent one more night in Churachandpur but then the next morning the workshop in Churachnadpur could not fix it either so we hired another truck to pull the car back to Imphal.

However, we had a wonderful time in Churachandpur as we shared with people who had wonderful testimonies of healings and were saved by attending our Crusades. We also had a follow up program with the help of several of our friends in Churachandpur and we met many people who got healed and saved during the Crusade.

As I told you over the phone, the woman who was severely sick in the hospital whom you prayed for was healed the same night through your prayers and after two days she was discharged from the hospital.

There was also a young girl who came to our office who invited you so earnestly to come and pray for her sick aunty. The same girl contacted us again by telephone to let us know the good news, however since we were not at home at the time she contacted us, Mr. Thang took the telephone call and she spoke to him.

The next day, while I was in Churachandpur, she contacted me over my mobile phone and was really happy about the healing through Papa Joe's prayer. She was crying in the telephone because of her great joy. She told me that if Papa Joe had not come and prayed for her Aunty, by this time she would be in a critical condition because of her sickness. Since they are so poor they could not buy all the medicines the doctors wanted them to buy, but now because of Papa Joe’s prayers she doesn't have to take medicines and they don’t have to buy costly medicines. She is absolutely healed by the prayers of Papa Joe. Her Aunty is now starting to eat food and regains her strength slowly. By the time Papa Joe comes back again to Manipur she will be strong enough to travel to Imphal and meet Papa Joe personally. She is not only healed physically but her soul also got saved through Papa Joe’s prayers. They were very happy. Praise God! Praise God!

One woman who was suffering from half paralysis was also healed through your prayer. The woman came to us last night and told us that she came to the crusade and there were many people but, fortunately, she got a seat in the third row. She rejoiced as she listened to the message from our sister Suzette and after the message she was very eager for prayer and she approached you, Papa Joe. She told me that since Papa Joe is very much known to us all, I just approached him and told him my problem. Because of the thousands of people he (Papa Joe) could not listen to me carefully, but I just asked him to pray for me. Papa Joe just layed his hand upon my head and prayed for me. Then I heard a sound like thunder and I just turned around and Papa Joe left me. I strongly believed that I was healed through Papa Joe’s prayer. When I wanted to go home I proceeded towards the main gate exit and I felt something on my body and my feet and arms was getting tighter and stronger. Then I shouted, praise God! Praise God! As I left the main gate exit, I knew that I was healed, I was so happy. I thought I would go back to Papa Joe and share my testimony, but because there were so many people leaving the stadium, I could not get to Papa Joe. By the time I got out from the crowded Stadium, the bus with the team and Papa Joe had left, I just saw the bus leave from a distance. I returned back home with joy. On my way back home, I sang songs with joy and tears were dropping out from my eyes. It was the last night of the Crusade. This lady was just a nominal Christian but now after she was healed from your prayers, she gave her life to Christ and now she is a very happy woman. She told us that she is moving to Mizoram and when she is in Mizoram she will share her testimony to many of the Mizo Christians. She believed that through her testimony many of her friends and relatives in Mizoram will come to the saving grace of our Lord.

In Churachandpur, hundreds were healed and hundreds got saved through the Crusades. Now many of the Christian leaders in Churachandpur, from different denominations, have felt the importance of the infilling of the Holy Spirit for leaders and for believers. Once these Christian leaders in Churachandpur district did not accept healing and the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, but now that they have seen hundreds of people healed from different sicknesses and the baptism of the Holy Spirit through our crusade, they have changed their hearts.

One hindu man who had kidney problems and had been on his sick bed for one and a half years watched the crusade by television. He was healed by watching the television through the prayer of sister Suzette. He gave his life to Christ and his sickness is absolutely gone. The man is now able to get up from his bed and walk and eat food. He and his family are so happy. The man said we praise God for sister Suzette and her team who came to Manipur to rescue the people of Manipur from our horrible situation. It is because of sister Suzette and her team that I was healed from my sickness and got saved from my sin by the blood of Jesus Christ.

One lady came to us this morning who had a severe case of piles for many years but could not be healed by doctors. She is from a very poor family and could not buy any medicines. She always came to the crusade every night and sat in the first row. Her pile problem was so severe that she was passing a lot of blood. Her body was going down and she had lost weight. Sometimes she could not walk. But she was healed through sister Suzette’s prayers on the last night of our Crusade. She came to us with tears of joy yesterday before we went to church. She told us that she now does not have to worry about getting medicine because God healed her. She told us that, “God knew that I am such poor women and could not buy medicine and I was healed by His stripes." She is a Hmar woman married to a Hindu man. You will meet her when you come here. Now, because of her healing, her Hindu husband has accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour.

A women and three men rang me up this morning and told me that they were healed from their sickness through the prayers of the team. They did not know who prayed for them but they are sure that it was the team members who prayed for them and they got healed. They could not classify whether the team was from Australia, Germany or Ukraine but they knew that it was our team members who prayed for them iwhen they were healed.

We love you Papa, and we keep praying for you always.

Bless you Papa.

Your missionary brother,
Minthang Suantak.
