Bibles Being Printed

Monday, October 31, 2005
Funds to print 10,000 bibles in the Vaiphei Language have now been donated. What a speedy answer to prayer!

I received a call from Manipur to see how the progress of raising the funds to print the bibles was going. I informed the team in Manipur that this was still in the hand of God. At church on Sunday morning I was called over and introduced to a member of our church who I had not met before. After sharing with him about our ministry, and that we had completed the translation of the bible last year, I shared the need to get the bibles printed.

After a while this man said to me, "What are you doing this afternoon?" There was nothing on my schedule so he invited me to his place and handed me the funds to print the bibles. Praise God for his unending faithfulness!

Today the funds were sent off to India. It is our hope that the bible printing will be completed by the end of January or in early February.

Women's Conference

Sunday, October 30, 2005
The women's conference is going so wonderfully! We hope to have a great and awesome result.

Many women who struggle in life and have lived with heavy burdens are now released from their burdens. So far about 15 women have been saved and daily counseling is happening. 2 great women of God are preaching and doing the counseling. Several of our staff, including me, have become the cooks. We cook food daily for all these women.

Regarding the Vaiphei Bibles printing as I told you at the hotel in Calcutta we desperately need $5,000 but we have been given a small amount so now we only need $4,000 AUD for the 10,000 copies of the Vaiphei Bible. We are now working through V.C.A. (Vaiphei Christian Association) for these bibles, since we did not have the needed funds. But they will be with us in whatever we decide. It would be good if we had all of the funds.

VCC & ROLWE Statistics

Friday, October 28, 2005
Greetings from your family and church members here in Imphal.

Today in the morning we had another round of talks regarding the January Crusade. We plan to get the best venue for the Crusade and we are still deciding. As soon as we have finalized the place we will let you know. There are many places that we need to visit when you come here for the Crusade.

For your information, here are some statistics of VCC & ROLWE in Manipur. There are 17 churches under VCC & ROLWE in the whole of Manipur and there are 30 full-time workers. In five years time, we plan to have 50 churches. There are many villages which are ready to come under VCC & ROLWE. The total population of VCC & ROLWE is 7,500 people.

Yesterday three men from Phailengjang village came to us and told us that three women in Phailengjang village were healed when you prayed for them at Phovaibi village. The three men told us that these three women were so pleased with Papa Joe for his prayer and they highly praise God for His healing arms.

The women's society of VCC & ROLWE organized a Women's Camp and today is the arrival so we are very busy. We bought 2 bags of rice and many bags of potatoes, onion, garlic, oil and much more for the conference. They will have a meeting at Goshen School and they will sleep there at the school. Please pray for the success of this women's conference. The resource person and speaker for the conference is an elderly woman who is very spiritual and is an excellent preacher of God's word.

Villages Restored

Thursday, October 20, 2005
Greetings from your family and church members here in Imphal. Due to the electricity problem and the frequent Internet line failures in our area we were not able to give you a frequent report as we wish.

Yesterday we went to B.Khonom with Zammang and Akhai our moderator. We preached there and during our meeting three men shared that they were saved through Papa Joe's preaching and four elderly women told us that they got absolute healing through Papa Joe's prayer. They were very happy.

On our way back we met five men on the road to Taronglaobi. Two of the men, being from a different village which is further down from B.Khonom, stopped us and told us that they were saved and healed from Papa Joe's prayer and preaching at B. Khonom church. None of us knew these five men but they told us that they attended Papa Joe's preaching at B.Khonom and got saved and healed from their sicknesses. They were so excited and thankful to God and to Papa Joe.

We had eight people from Phovaibi Village come to our VCC & ROLWE Office at Imphal with much joy and excitement, to share the great news about our ministry in their village in September. They told us that Phovaibi village never remained the same after Papa Joe visited. The village is now absolutely a new village spiritually as the people all experienced the infilling of the Holy spirit after Papa Joe preached. About 54 people have been healed so far through the prayer of Papa Joe and another 43 people were saved even after Papa Joe left the village through the message he left for the people. Therefore now Phovaibi village is totally changed from the former one. They praise God and are thankful to Papa Joe for such love and care for the people. Now the villagers are always have a thanksgiving service in the church and a great revival is always happening in Phovaibi village ever since Papa Joe's visit.

There are great demands from Sugunu Village therefore we are arranging to go there in January 2006. When the ROLWE team is here in January, we will visit Sugunu. I have already talked with the people concerned for us to have a meeting in Sugunu. Many sick people physically and spiritually are eagerly awaiting your visit.
