Youth Camp and New Mission Field

Wednesday, December 21, 2005
Greetings from your family and church members here in Imphal.

We trust you are doing well under God’s guidance.

We met several ministers and a high government official regarding the venue of our January crusade. There have been mixed reactions from the government since we organized the use of the venue for the Peace building campaign/crusade. We have obtained strong recommendation letters from some of the ministers, but not all are in agreement. Tomorrow we will have another round of talks with the concerned authorities. Please keep praying that we would be allowed to hold the event. We have had hardly any time for eating. We are too busy working for this upcoming great event.

Satan clearly knew that his kingdom is going to be destroyed through the crusade in January. Therefore he is trying to disturb and oppose the organization of the crusade. However, he is already overpowered by the blood of Jesus, and we have won the victory by the grace of God. We already defeated satan 2000 years ago so that he can never rise again. Satan is under our feet. Please keep praying as we organize this crusade.

The youth Camp at L.Phaijang was so wonderful. About 250 young people from different villages came and participated in the camp. It was exciting as many of them were convicted of their sins and turned to Jesus Christ our Lord. It was a great time of spiritual awakening. About 123 young people received Jesus Christ as their Lord. During the youth camp all the young people sensed the infilling of the Holy Spirit, and it was wonderful. We are looking forward to organizing another similar camp very soon, as we know the great impact this youth camp had.

Work in a new mission field at Tokpa Nepali basti was started with a meeting on the 18th December 2005 and it was really exciting and was a blessing for thousands of lost people. We hope this new mission field will be a great instrument to bring millions of lost souls into God’s Kingdom. Our three missionaries who work this station came and shared their great burden and happiness over the new mission field. They hope to double up their work through this new area. About 780 people attended the first meeting in the new mission field. I preached about salvation that day and many hundreds of people listened to the salvation message.

I just arrived home from Pallel from a crusade. Our crusade at Pallel yesterday was awesome, about 1000 people attended the crusade and 210 people accepted Jesus Christ. We thank God for the newly converted people.

We hope to raise more people for the army of God. We need to work more and more as thousands and millions of people are being lost everyday without salvation. The harvest truly is plentiful, let us pray the God will send more people into the harvest fields.

Nowadays the power in our area is very poor, only a few minutes in a day we have electricity, then the rest of the day there is absolutely no electricity, therefore let me hurry to send this email. I am now using our generator to send this mail and the fuel in the generator is nearly gone, I must hurry to send this.

We wish you a very best Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Your missionary brother
Minthang Suantak.

53 Army Soldiers Receive Christ

Tuesday, December 06, 2005
Greetings from your family and church members here in Imphal. We trust you are doing good in your ministry, and the Lord is continuing to bless you in all you do.

It was really good to have a talk on the telephone today, we were very encouraged to listen your voice. We always pray for you and discuss the upcoming crusade.

Yesterday being Sunday, I was engaged to preach in Langjing at an Indian army battalion. I preached among the soldiers which was really wonderful. The army need Jesus too. About 350 people attended the meeting. It was a wonderful response with about 53 soldiers accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord. During Christmas I will again be preaching in this Indian army camp at Imphal. Please keep praying for our ministry as we continue to grow.

We regularly visit the hospital and keep sharing the word of God with those hopeless, heart broken people, and share the comforting, wonderful words of God. Please keep praying for my upcoming program on the 8th and 9th December 2005. From the 10th December 2005 we will be again organizing a women's camp at Phovaibi village till the 12th December 2005. And from 14th December till the 19th December we will be organizing the Gospel Olympics at L. Phaijang village. You can see that our schedules are lined up with heavy engagements, then we will be busy for Christmas and the January crusade. We need your prayer and support.

VCC & ROLWE never leave any stone unturned in doing God's work for the enlargement of God's Kingdom here on earth.

Your people in Manipur are so excited to see you in January 2006. At the army battalion they are eager to listen to your preaching, and some sick people are just waiting for your prayer. It will be a wonderful time here in January.

We need to repair our Gypsy 4WD for the crusade in January as our Gypsy is in a very bad condition, making a big noise and everywhere the body is rusted. I made a wrong calculation for the repairs when I talked to you over the phone this morning. I told you we need $200 AUD for Gypsy repairs, but when we went and asked the mechanic they told us that we need minimum $300 AUD. Please send an extra $300 AUD when you send our wages.

We love you, and we keep praying for you. The next floor of our Diplomatic Centre construction is progressing well, and we plan to complete it in January 2006. May the good Lord continue to bless you in all your service is our earnest prayer always. Bless you. Please give our best wishes and regards to all the VCC & ROLWE board members in Australia, and our loving Mummy Vaiphei. We love them all and pray for them always. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Your missionary brother, Minthang Suantak.
