Projects In ManipurShortage of rice because of crop failure. Food relief project to purchase 10 ton of rice. Cost: $10,000 Wages each month need to be raised for our 24 full-time workers (paid 1500 rupees per month). Total cost per month: $1,200 Wages for school teachers and lecturers need to be raised each month (paid 2000 rupees per month). Cost per month: $1,200 Bible College support. Running cost: $1,500 per month. Sponsorship of bible college students: $30 per month per student Completion of construction of the Diplomatic Training Centre: $20,000 Bible College purchase of land: $55,000. Construction $100,000. Rickshaws are purchased by ROLWE and VCC to help bring financial relief to families. A rickshaw enables a family to be debt free and have a good and permanent income. Cost per rickshaw: $300 Pig projects. Two small piglets are purchased for breeding which provides a village with an income. Cost for two Piglets: $150 Sewing machines enable ladies to have a cottage industry which provides an income. Cost of a sewing machine: $300 Cows are purchased to help village life. Cost per cow: $150 Constructing a church in a newly-reached village: $1,000 Recently Completed Projects: One of the ROLWE school buildings, on the Myanmar border, was washed away by the floods and completely damaged. It was restored. Cost: $2,000 September/October 2006 preaching/healing campaign at stadium in Imphal and Churachandpur, Manipur, India. The purpose was to bring people to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and to bring reconciliation and unity amongst different tribal groups and churches in Manipur. We are hoping it will become an annual event: $20,000 Bible printing - Funds were donated to print 10,000 copies of the whole bible which had been translated into the Vaiphei language by ROLWE and Vaiphei Christian Church: This project was succesfully completed and 15,000 bibles were printed praise God. Diplomatic Centre in Manipur- Construction of the last storey is underway. Steel pipe has been purchased to construct trusses for the roof. New Computer in the ROLWE office in Imphal, Manipur, India: $1,545 In the last six month four churches were opened in diffrent Vaiphei villages. A new mission field was opened in Ghawati Assam State North East India. The rent for the building is $ 200/month A new school building in B Khounoum village is nearing completion $3000 still needed. Projects In MyanmarMyanmar Training Centre building project. This will be a powerhouse of training, equipping and releasing indigenous Christians to facilitate the ongoing growth of the Kingdom of God in Myanmar: $120,000 Adjacent land can be purchased: $1,000 Phone line. It is very difficult to get permission to have a phone line connected to your home in Myanmar. Permission was granted by the government to one of our workers and a phone number has been allocated to her. Cost: $2,000 Recently Completed Projects: Land purchase for building and farming 2.2 acres: $2,000 US Establishment of crops and piggery farm on land: $700 US Three wheel farming tractor: $3,000 Motor Cycle for evangelists: $1,500 Donate for the above projects via the Donate Now page.
